Seeing things in the right light is an age-old expression, but it holds true for photography, literally and figuratively.  As Photographers we are light seekers;  We want to see something extraordinary through our lens and we usually do.  In a very literal sense, we are trying to see things in the right light so that they please us, are interesting to us, and give us the pleasure of appreciating them.  I hope my images bring you that pleasure, it is my most sincere intent.  -Anderson 

Viendo las cosas en la luz correcta es una vieja expresion, pero la misma posee mucha verdad en la fotografia, literal y figurativamente.  Como fotografos, somos buscadores de luz;  Queremos ver algo extraordinario a travez de nuestro lente y usualmente lo logramos. En un sentido muy literal, estamos tratando de ver cosas en la luz correcta para que nos complascan, sean interazantes para nosotros, nos den el placer de apreciarlas.  Espero que mis imagenes te traigan ese placer, es mi mas sincera intencion.  -Anderson

My experience as a model for Anderson Gonzalez was a great opportunity for me to explore a side of photography and art that has always interested me.  However, I did not feel comfortable with other photographers until I met Anderson.  During the session Anderson took the time to show me the poses and I appreciated his patience.  He made me feel at ease during the session and he pushed me to create the best of me.  I would be happy to work with him again. -Laimis

Featuring Mr. Trever

A few months ago Trever and I had the opportunity to have a photo shoot together, where we both posed for a very talented photographer.  I happened to have my camera with me and asked Trever if it would be okay for me to take some pictures of him, upon which he agreed and here are the results of that experience.  Thank you Trever.  Enjoy!

MAGNIFICENT GIA

There is something within us that is naturally drawn to the miracle of live, shapes and proportions. Finally, there is intimacy.  To me, this is the most important piece.  With portraits, it's about trust.  Someone is giving me a piece of themselves, trusting that I will be kind in my interpretation.  Even if we are not using words, I have to hear what they are saying with their eyes, lips and hands.  This is the beauty of portraiture, capturing that essence that I've been trusted with.  

Hay algo dentro de nosotros que nos atrae al milagro de la vida, formas y proporciones.  Finalmente, hay la intimidad.  Para mi, esta es la pieza mas importante.  Con retratos, se trata de confianza.  Alguien me esta dando una parte de si mismo, confiando en que sere amable en mi interpretacion.  Aun cuando no estemos usando palabras, yo tengo que escuchar lo que estan diciendo con sus ojos, sus labios y sus manos.  Esta es la belleza de los retratos, capturar esa esencia la cual me ha sido confiada.
